Each thrust grew more pleasurable than the last as his gaze penetrated my soul. As I reached one peak, the next one came swelling right behind it, with even more intensity. Electric energy pulsing between us, quivering breath, bodies in perfect rhythm…MYGOD, what a yummy finale to a stressful day.
It was some of the most connected, pleasurable sex we’ve EVER had. But what made it so amazing?

Just an hour earlier, we were sitting on the couch next to each other, and the tension from my body was palpable. I felt tears begin to swell. I looked at him and said, “I’m really struggling right now.”
He leaned in quietly as I set down the weight I’d been carrying. He listened with calm and presence as I shared about my frustrations with myself and with him, my fears about this transition, and the overwhelm with everything that still needs to be done. It took him by surprise, because I’d been so energized and excited about the whole process the past week.
But instead of taking any of it personally and rushing to blame or rationalize, he listened. He held me. He committed to working more as a team on this.
Sensing the safety he’d created in that moment, my body softened. I shifted. As my heart felt warm, open…I felt a desire to show my appreciation. Not even for what he was doing, but who he was being.
I knew he had pains of his own. Heart full & body more relaxed, I asked him to lie on the floor, and gave him just what he needed…a firm glute massage, lots of loving touch, words of appreciation, and tight, playful squeezes all over his body.
Both our bodies feeling safe enough to truly open, we carried that energy with us…and left our clothes behind.💋
