I hate making gloves as much as I hate making jackets, but I don’t make gloves as often so I forgot how much I hate making them 😅 For these gloves, I used a red stretch shiny vinyl. After cutting out my pieces, I stitched the seams together with a zig zag stitch on the arms and a straight stretch stitch on the hands and fingers. I have long fingers, thin wrists, and normal sized biceps so I had to redo these because my first pair I made were way too small in the fingers and wrist but fit fine on my arms. After stitching the main portion of the gloves together, I cut out some white faux fur and sewed them into the top portion of the gloves with a straight stitch. The final product isn’t perfect, as the fingers could fit a bit better still and he biceps are a bit tight (faux fur doesn’t stretch and I made these late at night so I didn’t think about the lack of stretch so I didn’t account for it when I added them to the stretch fabric) but they will do for one shoot.
