### Before approaching your partner(s) with a sexual request, check your intentions and **make sure you are ready to hear the word no.** If you are not ready to hear your partner(s) say no, then you are not inviting conversation, you are introducing a veiled demand. **We HAVE to be willing to listen and accept ‘no’ and be ready to talk before we ask.** By de-triggering the word ‘no,’ we truly allow ourselves to explore each other’s desires in an open-minded and respectful space.
