🕑 Added 2022-03-17 17:05:08 +0000 UTC This was one of my favorite hikes out in WA. (Swipe for nature booty). It was certainly a test of my own limits at the time — I remember getting to the top of the Burroughs, my legs shaking, my heart racing, and seeing Mount Rainier (Tahoma) up close and personal. She is so large, so majestic, it actually distorts reality and perception. I could hear boulders tumbling, echoing as they made their way down. I sat up there in complete disbelief - Our world, our beautiful world with so much magic. My body, my healing body with this ability to push myself in physical movement again. The quiet. The stillness. The tears in my eyes. The rumbles. The gratitude. The crisp air. The elder rock only touched by few. The colors. The layers. Nature will gift you in ways you never knew possible.
