You can't see it much in this pic, but until a couple of years ago I never bothered to decorate any where I lived. Not only did it seem pointless because we were renting and would just have to start all over somewhere else, but I didn't see the point in wasting time, money or effort just for aesthetics. But then I read a quote about not treating where you are in life now as just a "transitional phase" and waiting to really start enjoying your life. I realized I deserved to live in a well decorated home, and since nature photography is one of my passions I figured it was a good place to start! Now it makes me so happy to see it every day, and I love that it's constantly evolving as we get more and more photos! I'd love to hear how you've decorated your home or if you have done a project your particularly proud of in your environment! :)
