The ground this was built on, though, is historic (like most of the French Quarter). This particular city block is the site of the first (oldest) graveyard of New Orleans. When the owners contracted a pool to be built, the initial excavation resulted in finding a LOT of skeletons. No joke! Photos from enjoying an afternoon at the pool and showering off before heading home.
