💭 About modern etiquette Etiquette is not just a set of rule..
🕑 Added 2024-11-20 02:19:02 +0000 UTC 💭 About modern etiquette Etiquette is not just a set of rules invented once upon a time. It's a tool that helps people interact respectfully and comfortably. But the world is changing, and I believe etiquette needs to be flexible and modern too. For example, how do we perceive phone calls now? Once it was normal, but now many people prefer text messages. Or, say, dinner conversations - the boundary between politeness and the desire to post a new dish in the stories has become quite thin. Modern etiquette should be about respecting personal boundaries, accepting different points of view and being comfortable with each other. And while in the past it was considered important to hold your fork correctly, today it's probably more important to learn to respect other people's time, stop pressuring and expect a response immediately. What rules of etiquette do you think are worth revisiting? 🖤
