So I don’t know if you know this, but Christmas is my favorite holiday.🎄 It always has been. And it’s not about the consumerism and the gifts. Although I do love giving gifts! I love the music, the lights, the anticipation, the vegan treats, and spending time with family. And of course if there’s snow, even better! ❄️ I was homeschooled up until college, and I believed in Santa until I was 14 or 15. 😅 I am a trusting and gullible person. When I found out I was crushed!! So that year I decided to be Santa and fill up my family’s stockings with little gifts.
I usually start listening to Christmas music in September. But this year I’ve barely listened to any so far. So I thought it would be nice to sing one of my favorite Christmas songs on this snow covered mountain. It’s called “People Look East,” and it’s from my Waldorf homeschooling.
I don’t have the best voice, and I could definitely use some lessons, but I hope you still enjoy the experience. This is the first three verses of the song. I had to keep pausing because honestly it was hard to catch my breath after running around in the snow, and I was almost out of light. Your girl is a major night owl, and getting ready, driving 1.5 hours, and completing content by 3/4pm in the winter is a real challenge for me! 😂
