I hate not posting at least once per day, but something happ..
🕑 Added 2020-05-17 14:55:15 +0000 UTC I hate not posting at least once per day, but something happened yesterday that kept me from my planned routine. I went paddle boarding for 5 hours and got lost!! StoryTime! As usual, a random boy starts talking to me at the park. Totally not my type, but he is fun, friendly and invites me to go paddle boarding for free. I’m like, hell yes! I’d love to do that around the Fort Lauderdale canals! It was a ton of fun, BUT.... I raced ahead because he was slow as hell and I got lost!! I’m paddl!ng my ass off, I’m on only 400 calories for the day plus a few hundred from the 4 small carbonated alcoholic beverages I had and not even remotely enough water. I paddle through a thunderstorm, carried the damn paddle board down the street (in the storm, fighting the wind), lost my second favorite pair of sunglasses in the water 😭😭 and finished off by paddled for over 11 miles, according to my Apple Watch. I knew where I was on the map, but I could NOT find the dock!! I was finally rescued by the same guy I came with, who had waved down a random boater. He couldn’t even make it back to where we started!! I had explored ALL the canals minus 2. They were next on my quest to find the damn dock before my watch died and so I didn’t have to hitch a ride, in the pouring rain, in nothing but a soaking wet bikini 🤣 I finally made it home at 10:15pm..... Then I was nauseous as HELL, threw up all the fluids and what small simple foods I could stomach, and passed out with all the lights on, some hours later. I did not wake up once until my laptop woke up for email alerts at 9am! So, needless to say, I need a LOT of rest today!! The good news is I dropped 4.5lbs 😆 but I’m still 9lbs away from my goal. Fluids and simple foods today!! I will be doing Doordash orders. But, as always, a pic is attached, it’s all I could muster at this time. After washing my face, brushing my teeth, and grabbing a little food, it’s all I can do, I can barely stand or scratch my own head 😵😵
