Update: As of now, they drained & flushed his face, gave him antibiotics and pain meds. They don't know if it is a dental issue or an injury that festered. I have to babysit him for the afternoon/evening as he can't walk well after being sedated. He just ate an entire can of wet food, so he is feeling a lot better already. ☺️
